HALL OF FAME

We are super proud to be able to announce our induction call-up into the XRACE Hall of Fame. To achieve Hall of Fame status, the magic number is five XRACES under your belt.

You must have completed five XRACE events over five different years (Nippers doesn't count). Our Hall of Fame XRACERS will be giving their very own shirts to race in - XRACE BLACK. You do not receive your black T-shirt until the sixth year.

This is our way of saying thank you to those families that have supported us from the outset, and congratulations to families that continue to XRACE together.

There are already quite a few families that qualify for Hall of Fame, mostly parents who have raced with an older child then passed on their skills to the younger ones. Regardless, we look forward to inducting you all into the Hall of Fame and giving you your black t-shirts at your XRACE next season.

How do you get into the Hall of Fame?

Hall of Famers do not need to complete an application form. Induction into the Hall of Fame is completely honesty based (see conditions below).

We have simplified the process considerably to get into the Hall of Fame.

There is no form to complete.

All you need to do is turn up on the sixth year, we call out inductees into the Hall of Fame 30 minutes prior to race start (just after nippers) and that that point we induct you into the Hall of Fame, present you with your black T-shirt which you then get to race for from that point forward.

Hall of Famers are welcome to always race in wave zero.

 

 

Qualifying to be in the Hall of Fame:

  • You must have finished at least five different XRACES from five different years.
    *Nippers do not count, main XRACE only.

  • Open to parent or child (you qualify as an individual, not as a team).
    For example, if a parent has done five and the child only 4, the parent only is inducted

  • Two different XRACE cities in one year only counts as one race.

  • You will receive your shirt at the start of your sixth year.

  • Entering into 2020 for Hutt City, Hawera and Auckland count even if you did not race.

  • This is an honesty policy and up to you to join when appropriate.
