NIPPERS
The Nippers race is all about making sure that younger siblings of our main XRACERS don't miss out. It is a mini version of an XRACE - the Nippers run around a short course that is located at the main XRACE Start/Finish area and complete several challenges with mum or dad. ‘Nippers’ is for kids that are six years and under.
Our Nippers are the curtain-raiser and start 30 minutes before the main XRACE. Mum and dad, you can charge around the course with them and still have time to complete the main XRACE.
N.B. Please note that the nippers race is a companion to the main XRACE and not a standalone race. It is best suited for younger siblings who already have brothers and sister who are taking part in the main XRACE.

WHEN DOES NIPPERS START?
Nippers do need to be registered as well. They receive their own Nipper goody bag. The $15 entry fee covers the cost of their t-shirt, finish medal and goody along with a proud photo for the family paparazzi
HOW OLD DO NIPPERS NEED TO BE?
This one is over to you. There are no lower limits to Nippers. You will be with your Nipper the whole way around! The upper limit is 6. There is no lower age limit for Nippers (although typically Nippers are at least 3 years old)
ARE NIPPERS TIMED?
No, nippers are not timed.
HOW LONG DOES NIPPERS TAKE?
The whole event takes about 5-10 minutes to complete the course.
CAN I DO NIPPERS FIRST WITH MY LITTLE ONE THEN THE MAIN XRACE WITH MY BIG ONE?
Yes, you will have time to do both events. After Nippers, you can head to the XRACE start line with your older child
XRACE IS MORE THAN A RACE.
Our series has one goal, to strengthen families and challenge kids - so that their self-esteem skyrockets and mum and dad get to shine in the moment. We want to help build more resilient kids and empower children with disabilities - embracing and challenging everyone - encouraging competition and sportsmanship. AND. An XRACE can never use a screen.
